    • Kneading

Kneading is a method in which you apply pressure to various parts of your body with your thumbs or palms. The purpose is to pull the muscle away from the bone, which aids in the relief of muscle spasms. Kneading is known as Petrisage in the 마사지 massage treatment literature.

Kneading is one of the first methods taught to massage therapy students, and as a result, it is slightly simpler to master than the others. However, learning how to apply pressure to the skin and muscles at different speeds and intensities is equally vital.

    • Effleurage (Light/Deep Stroking)

This is another technique that is often employed in salons, parlors, and massage stations. It entails applying little pressure on the skin using your hands. The hands should stay flat as they glide over the body, and oils or lotions can be used for enhanced comfort.

Effleurage is frequently performed at the start and finish of a massage to ensure that the client is as comfortable as possible. The idea is to warm up the muscles in preparation for other, more strenuous methods while also increasing blood flow to different places of the body.

    • Rubbing

The rubbing technique, as the name implies, is rotating your thumbs in a circular pattern while providing pressure. This procedure is utilized to relieve muscular and joint discomfort as well as promote blood circulation throughout the body.

Rub the skin with your thumbs to treat isolated areas of the body, such as muscles that are tight or joints that pain. Rubbing can be used in a full body massage to ease tightness and/or soreness in the higher depths of the muscle tissues when performed at a mounting stress.

    • Tapotement is a term used to describe the process of (tapping)

Because tapping massage is one of the most efficient techniques to increase blood circulation, it is often utilized in sports massages. The massage therapist taps various portions of the body with quick strokes, primarily the spine, legs, and glutes.

The arms can be clasped so that only the margins of the fingers and thumb contact the body, or they can be laid side – by – side and pounded on the epidermis in a striking massage. You may adjust the approach to employ a certain tapping style based on how your customer like to tap.

    • Vibration or Shaking

Finally, this practice is similar to tapping in numerous aspects since it contains rhythm. To simulate a vibration traveling through the aforementioned area, lightly shake the muscles at a reasonable speed with either your hands across a broad surface area (such as the back) or your fingers (across the face).
